The client had a non-functioning garden on a very steep slope that dropped down towards a stream. It was hazardous in certain weather conditions and unsuitable for children to play in.
The property position and access issues posed certain restrictions i.e. levelling the garden was not an option as there was no access for machinery.
Decking was the most viable option.
The garden was split into 4 levels of paved and decked areas. The lower of the 4 being a piered decking raised 15ft above ground level.
The end result was a multi-functional garden with relatively low maintenance.
